Preferred Towing was established in 1991 by current owners/operators Gary and Tammy Vandenheuvel. Gary has 25 years towing experience and is a Class 'A' licensed mechanic. Gary has been a member of the Ontario Recovery Group O.R.G. for over 10 years and has served as vice president for 2 years and president for the organization for 2.5 years.
All employees receive extensive training in specialized towing and recovery work, Industrial Safety Training, Workplace Hazardous Material Information System and Transportation of Dangerous Goods. Additionally, we have training in First Aid, CPR and Lambton Industrial Fire School Training. Through on-going training to remain on the leading edge in our industry, Preferred Towing ensures that Continuous Quality Improvement practices are adhered to by all employees. All vehicles are subject to preventative maintenance routines and are safety inspected annually. We pride ourselves in providing modern, well equipped and highly maintained vehicles. Preferred Towing is CVOR licensed, U.S. D.O.T. certified and fully insured. Preferred Towing employs professional uniformed drivers who provide driver's abstract with periodic inspections of driving records occurring at regular intervals.
Preferred Towing is a 24hr/7 day per week service provider who is capable of handling all of your heavy duty, medium duty, and light duty towing, and float service needs, as well as offering cross docking services on-site.
