Brown & Son, LLC is owned and operated by the Brown family and has been in operation since 1989. We are a transportation company offering services for towing, recovery, road service, heavy hauling and trans loading. We are located off of I-81 in Salem, Virginia. We provide quick service to Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina. Brown & Son, LLC employees will strive to provide you the best service possible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We are the company of choice for many local dealerships which provide service for Freightliner, International, Mack, Western Star, John Deere, Caterpillar, Volvo, GMC and others.

Light duty:

Our light duty trucks are designed to transport your car, light truck or motorcycle damage free. Our trucks have the latest design available. Rollback service for your exotic, all wheel drive and low profile vehicles and 4 wheel drive service for off road recovery.

Medium duty:

Our medium duty trucks are ideal for small motor homes, school buses and box trucks. All trucks are equipped with the latest under lift technology.

Heavy duty:

Our heavy duty trucks are the highlight of our business. We provide the best equipment and the best operators around. From tractor/trailer trucks to motorhomes we have the exact equipment for the job. We also provide all hydraulic wreckers and air cushions for those difficult recovery jobs

Brown & Son, LLC heavy haul division specializes in transporting oversized and over dimension equipment weighing up to 110,000 pounds.

• Rollback 3 axle for equipment up to 30,000 pounds
• Tractor & Landoll 5 axle for buses, motor homes and equipment weighing up to 50,000 pounds.
• Tractor & RGN 5 axle Trailer for dozers, excavators and equipment weighing up to 50,000 pounds.
• Tractor & RGN 7 axle Trailer for dozers, excavators and equipment weighing up to 80,000 pounds.
• Tractor & RGN Beam Trailer for very large dozers, excavators, rock crushers, and equipment weighing up to 110,000 pounds
• Tractor & Van Trailer for freight weighing up to 45,000 pounds.
